Trust & safety
W8ing only works if both sides can rely on it. Here's how we keep it straight.
Verified businesses
Businesses can be verified by phone, email or a business document check. Verified listings carry a badge; unverified ones don't, and we never imply otherwise.
Genuine reviews only
A review can only be left by a customer who actually booked and attended that appointment through W8ing. Businesses can reply once to any review, but never edit or delete one.
Example content is labelled
While W8ing opens to businesses, some listings are examples used to demonstrate the marketplace. They are clearly labelled as demo and their reviews are not presented as genuine customer feedback.
Your details
Businesses see only what they need to honour your booking: your name, contact details and the slot you took. Customers never see other customers. Nothing is sold on.
Cancellations and no-shows
Cancel from your bookings screen and the slot goes straight back on the marketplace. Repeated no-shows can lead to an account being restricted.
Reporting misuse
Anything that looks wrong — a fake listing, a misleading price, an inappropriate review — can be reported and is reviewed by a moderator. Either side can block the other.
One more thing
W8ing lists availability published by independent businesses. Each business is responsible for the service it provides and for the accuracy of what it publishes.
